Therfore my question is: How can I get it to work with intel and afterword I have the hope that I can use the nvidia correctly.
I have checked the KMS options in the kernel several times and am certain that I haven't missed anything. If you have an idear pleas let me know. And before I forget it my makeconf:
Code: |
FLAGS="-O2 -pipe -march=corei7"
CXXFLAGS="${CFLAGS}"
CHOST="x86_64-pc-linux-gnu"
MAKEOPTS="-j9"
[...]
LINGUAS="de en"
VIDEO_CARDS="intel i965 nvidia fbdev vesa"
INPUT_DEVICES="evdev synaptics"

Hi,
Unfortunately my BIOS options are limited, so that I cannot disable the nvidia grafic card.
I thought it needed a working intel graphics card? Because so far I do not get any screens if I enable it. |

Hi,
I tried a little further. Strange thing is: if I am using the Nouveau driver instead of the nvidia ones, my system will start correctly. But as far as I know you'll get performance loss if using them compared to the closed source alternative. Anybody a idear how I can fix it? |
