Hi All,

Could I ask your help for further direction if I want to build a cluster with Gentoo? I have recently learnt the Redhat way with those ccs, cman, conga, gfs2, rgmanager. I am wondering if I would like to use Gentoo for this, could someone please give me some further direction on this?

I notice there isn't really much resources available telling you the in-depth of Linux cluster (or I haven't come across to it yet), even the books available for this topic are limited as well...

Thanks for the help in advance~

I hate what I am about to say, but is your google broken?

Also "cluster" is quite a broad term.

What kind of cluster?

And what are you going to use it for?

For starters http://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Cluster will give you a idea.
For generic mpi stuff have a look at https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/High_Performance_Computing_on_Gentoo
Want to offer stable services you might want to look into linux-ha http://www.linux-ha.org/doc/users-guide/users-guide.html
Want any of these without disks? https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Diskless_nodes

I have no what to advise when I don't know what you are looking for.
ccs, a configuration program?
cman, a management program?
conga, another or mass configuration program?
gfs2, a clustered fs
rgmanager, mass management program?

Only to GFS2 I could imagine some alternatives.
