Anyone tried to install it? Any dependencies to look out for? It would be nice to build a low latency live embedded system on Gentoo.

I installed it : it embeds all dependencies (including a JRE environment).

I just had to convert the .deb to .tar.gz, then deploy the files in /opt and /usr/local

It seems to run quite well, but since there is no demo sequence, I'm a bit lost in the interface (I was already lost with its "cousin", Ableton Live)

Are you on 32 or 64 bit?
Did you use deb2targz or something else?

I get errors trying to start up .. I really don't want to go to an Ubuntu based distro .. for using Bitwig.. (I'm a very long time gentoo user - just can't find my original forum login so created a new one)

I am on 64 bits (no multilib), and I don't remember the tool I used, probably deb2tgz or alien.

This Bitwig ebuild lists quite a few dependencies. Running smooth here.
