I've one trouble with pth-2.0.7, after configure it stopped on

I ran into the exact same problem emerging app-arch/cpio as well as dev-libs/pth.
conftest just hangs. I don't know if it ever eventually returns.
Still digging on this. |

Eh, should be; if not, could you file a bug about this at Gentoo Bugzilla? Make sure to explicitly mention you're still experiencing this on that version; as well as attach the complete build.log, complete config.log and comment with the output of `emerge --info`. This in an old thread, but I've just run into the same problem (and wasted a day of emerge -e due to it).
Just for record, emerging from console (instead of gnome-console) as stated here, worked for me. |
