Exploitable: local, remote
Date: March 26, 2014
Bug(s): #448246

A vulnerability in grep could result in execution of arbitrary code

Background

grep is the GNU regular expression matcher.

Affected Packages

Package: sys-apps/grep
Vulnerable: < 2.12
Unaffected: >= 2.12
Architectures: All supported architectures
