Removing Activity Manager was the first thing I did on first boot into KDE.
But today I recognized that "Remove this Activity Manager" context menu option missing.
I wasted a couple of hours trying to remove this launcher. Even unmerge kactivities doesn't helped.
HELP ME!!! How do I remove this crap ?

Hi creaker,
I am able to remove a plasma widget placed on a panel (like activities manager) only when unlocking the widgets and clicking on the "Panel Tool Box" icon (i.e. the "cashew" icon which show up next to the clock): once activated the "Panel Tool Box" you can remove the widget either by right-clicking or left-clicking on the "Activities" icon. |

kite14, thank you!
It does the trick.
Apparently, all the KDE problems are solved and bugs are fixed, and the developers have nothing else to do but such "improvements". |

Apparently, you are a rare case of having trouble with that. |
