Attempting to do a world update I get the following error. How can I resolve this?

I tried this first a week ago, got some dependency issue that seemed related to there not being available a new enough package for some other package. I waited a week to see if it would be resolved by then, but now I get the following:

Code:
 * Messages for package x11-drivers/ati-drivers-14.1_beta:

 *   CONFIG_DRM must be disabled or compiled as a module and not loaded for direct
 *              rendering to work.
 * Please check to make sure these options are set correctly.
 * Failure to do so may cause unexpected problems.

Keep reeling or scrolling back... Or check out the real build log file.
Libreoffice is one of the nastiest ebuilds out there and debugging it can take time. One issue that shows up is that LO has a disk space requirement that may be being triggerred but this should have been in the pre-checks. Anyway need more info to see what's going on.

Usually that's a hardware problem, does it stop at the same point each time or random?

What version of gcc are you using? emerge --info would show this...
