Hello and sorry if im in the wrong fourm. For my university course I need to use the minimal install of gentoo but my virtual machines cpu stalls when gentoo boots. I looked online and it said to download a old version of the gentoo minimal, when the Kernal was a lower version but I do not know where I would find the lower kernal minimal install. Can any one help me. Thank you |

Try to use an other LiveLinux, as SystemRescue CD, which is better regarding supported hardware. And it has a graphical interface, with web browser ! _________________ Kind regards,

I understand that there are easier to use linix os's but the assessment says I have to use gentoo minimal, the full install of gentoo works, we just use gentoo to format the HDD using the fdisk command. If there is no other versions of the minimal install I understand I will just try as many computers as I can and hope one works. Thanks |
