[Solved] Installing GRUB UEFI--efibootmgr error

I have been running into a problem where efibootmgr is claiming it is out of space.

SOLVED: Researching my issue I found this article about bugs in the implementation of EFI variable storage. I realized that I was live-booting kernel 3.8xxx and that fixes I might need came in 3.9.7 and 3.10 (possibly others as this article is nearly four months old). With 3.13xxx it worked first try. The article will explain the details of what exactly was happening if you're interested.
