Hi,
ich wollte mal wieder einen neueren kernel
:mit genkernel gebaut und in grub.conf eingetragen mit root=UUID=*** (auch fstab)
aber ich erhalte beim booten folgenden fehler

!! could not mount specified ROOT, try again

ich glaube ich habe falsche Konfiguration für

00:1f.2 SATA controller: Intel Corporation 7 Series Chipset Family 6-port SATA Controller [AHCI mode] (rev 04)

mit älteren kernel(conf) klappt es ...

lspci -k zeigt dir, welches kernel modul in Gebrauch, bzw. benötigt ist: | Code: | 00:1f.2 SATA controller: Intel Corporation 5 Series/3400 Series Chipset 6 port SATA AHCI Controller (rev 05)
Subsystem: Dell Device 040a
Kernel driver in use: ahci |
Ich brauche also nur AHCI im kernel. Für Serie 7 dürfte das auch AHCI sein.
