It looks like this is a bug http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=713536

was fixed in: Fixed in version gupnp-igd/0.2.2-1

Try installing higher version by unmasking it.

Hi, same issue here, I didn't understand where root cause is so raised Gentoo bug http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=713536, but will close it and will try newest ebuild and post solution then.

Resolution:
nano /etc/portage/package.accept_keywords
#Trying to unmask because of the bug http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=713536
=net-libs/gupnp-igd-0.2.2-r1 ~amd64

If you face similar situation in future you can always check all available ebuilds for particular architecture by issuing following code:
Code:
helios glibc # equery keywords net-libs/gupnp-igd
Keywords for net-libs/gupnp-igd:
            |                           | u   |
            | a a             p     s   | n   |
            | l m   h i m m   p s   p   | u s | r
            | p d a p a 6 i p c 3   a x | s l | e
            | h 6 r p 6 8 p p 6 9 s r 8 | e o | p
            | a 4 m a 4 k s c 4 0 h c 6 | d t | o
------------+---------------------------+-----+-------
   0.1.7    | + + ~ + + o o + + o o + + | # 0 | gentoo
  0.1.11    | ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ o o ~ ~ o o ~ ~ | #   | gentoo
   0.2.1    | + + ~ + + o o + + o o + + | o   | gentoo
   0.2.2    | ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ o o ~ ~ o o ~ ~ | #   | gentoo
[I]0.2.2-r1 | ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ o o ~ ~ o o ~ ~ | o   | gentoo

In this case I picked up the latest 0.2.2-r1 marked as test(unstable), but there is still one more 0.2.2, so the decision which you want try is on you.

After this unmasking newest ebuild gupnp-igd-0.2.2-r1 is installed and emerging can continue. I personally faced this issue when emerging latest gnome 3.8.* at my workstation.

Ain't a gentoo bug report, but a debian?
