what is the python version to be default use now 2.7 or 3 ?

Code:
tux ramaswamy # python-updater
 * Starting Python Updater...
 * Main active version of Python:    3.2
 * Active version of Python 2:       2.7
 * Active version of Python 3:       3.2
 * Globally supported Python ABIs in installed repositories:
 *   gentoo:                         2.4 2.5 2.6 2.7 3.1 3.2 3.3 2.5-jython 2.7-jython 2.7-pypy-1.7 2.7-pypy-1.8 2.7-pypy-1.9 2.7-pypy-2.0

is it right for gnome 2 packages ?

Code:
libICE.so.6 so try adding it to the linker command line

how that can be done?
already the libICE,so.6 shows as a link only. but i can't find the file itself anywhere.
when i tried remerging libICE it finally strips the so.6 file
then how it can be read by the packages?
