yep...I was trying to keep KDE stable, then began getting blocking errors on updates, so I decided to give in and update...
Now I have this error:

I found some posts, but I'm not sure if this one will delete my folders (or if it will even work)...

the method the link suggests should not delete any mail
but if you're going to try it I'd have good backups

well, it all seemed to work quite well...the only difference was that I had to change things from my
folder and not
folder
now I have a much bigger problem...the old 'Retrieving Folder Contents' hanging forever and ever...
any ideas for that?
