I dont have the problem since i fixed it but wanted to post it in case anybody else gets it:
Situation: You install Gentoo + Gnome3 with the profile for Gnome + Systemd. You use Wifi and/or wired connection through NetworkManager + dhcpcd.
Problem: NetworkManager tryes to connect to a WPA network (not sure if it happends with other kinds) or to certain Lan networks, it connects for a few secconds and it just drops the connection with errors in the log calling some timeouts with IPV6 from DHCPCD.
Solution: Install NetworkManager with these USE flags: -dhcpcd dhclient
Conclusion: There's some sort of problem with DHCPCD + Systemd that causes this mess, solved when u change to dhclient from dhcpcd and works flawlessly. |
