Hi,
I have a problem with java on gentoo that I don't encounter when trying on other systems like Mint or Windows.
The trouble is that I cannot enter letters with circumflex or dieresis like ô or ï.
This happens in the netbeans editor for example but also in the application that I develop.
I use a typematrix bépo french keyboard but the problem is the same with a standard keyboard.
If I copy past the characters from an other application like an editor they are accepted.
Here is the output of the locale command.
