I have a Thinkpad x201 in apparently good working order, running ~amd64. I'm still on openrc, have pulseaudio, etc. I do have aufs3 over gentoo-sources to test docker.
When on the docking station, I sometimes get series of system speaker beeps. These can be intermittent, or happen many times within a few minutes.
Nothing appears in dmesg or syslog. What other locations could I try to see what software or system is calling those beeps?
FWIW, here is the tail of dmesg. The timestamp doesn't correspond to the first occurence of beeps however.
