Hello!

I tried today 'emerge --sync' after a period of 2 weeks and instead of syncing it returned this:

Code:
# emerge --sync
>>> Synchronization of repository 'gentoo' located in '/usr/portage'...
>>> Starting rsync with rsync://212.37.1.30/gentoo-portage...
>>> Checking server timestamp ...
timed out
rsync error: received SIGINT, SIGTERM, or SIGHUP (code 20) at rsync.c(549) [Receiver=3.0.9]
>>> Retrying...

>>> Starting retry 1 of 1 with rsync://[2a01:2b0:1000:e::100]/gentoo-portage
>>> Checking server timestamp ...
rsync error: error in socket IO (code 10) at clientserver.c(122) [Receiver=3.0.9]
>>> Retrying...
!!! Exhausted addresses for rsync.se.gentoo.org

I did tried to update portage successfully after that, just in case it was an older portage doing this, but the error remained.
I then pinged rsync.se.gentoo.org and had 100% packet loss... server down?

How do I fix this? :)
Thanks in advance!
/Kle

Wait until the server is fixed or use another one instead.

:roll: Well.... I was too fast to post without thinking this out a bit first. Changed it to the finnish server.
Sorries and thank you Jaglover!

Cheers!
