Gnome start slowly, Mouse and Keyboard don't work with GDM.
Code:
homeserver ~ # gdm
gdm[1397]: GLib-GIO: g_dbus_method_invocation_return_gerror: assertion `error != NULL' failed
gdm[1397]: GLib: g_error_free: assertion `error != NULL' failed

when I tried to restart dbus,

Code:
homeserver ~ # /etc/init.d/dbus restart
 * Stopping D-BUS system messagebus ...                                     [ ok ]
 * Starting D-BUS system messagebus ...
Unknown username "pulse" in message bus configuration file                  [ ok ]
homeserver ~ #

clouds222,

Please post your
Code:
emerge --info
output.

As a wild guess, do
Code:
emerge -1 xf86-input-evdev
This is only inteded as a diagnostic/workaround. Its not a fix.

That bit at the start of USE var looks odd, but the interesting part in xorg log is

so it seems your mesa was built with wrong useflags.

Also, more relevant would be the log when run as a normal user, not root.

No input devices are being detected, but as server quits early, that doesn't need to mean a thing.
If it does, then your input devices probably aren't getting marked properly by udev.

Thanks VoidMage, thanks to all.

I don't know why it will pull i965, but the root cause is udev is blocked by systemd, which led the devices don't work.

I switched the system from openRC to systemd, and all goes smoothly.

Again, thanks all for your help.
