Just installed Funtoo Linux running gentoo-sources on my new computer (z87, Intel i5, nVidia graphics) and it fails to boot.
I just get a "green screen" and a frozen system almost immediately.
I installed using VirtualBox in Windows (using Physical disk access with VMDK) and it works just fine here (I've installed this way before on other systems without any problems).
I lost my USB Thumb-drive so it was the only way to go.[/url]
Tried booting with acpi=off and nomodeset, no difference.
I took an image of the screen and uploaded it here: http://i.imgur.com/mK5WPMC.jpg _________________ For gentoo tips, tricks and other nerdy stuff, visit my blog: http://anderse.wordpress.com/ |
