Problem with some videos in firefox

Hi all,

I'm having a weird problem with firefox and videos. While I have on problem watching stuff on youtube and the like, some videos, often those attached to ads or on sites that may not use flash, wind up not being watchable. There's a weird kind of distortion, sort of smearing. Any idea as to what this might be? I have an older computer, but it never gave me any problems with videos until now.

I think a bunch of us are seeing this issue. I wanted to check if there was a regression in either firefox or adobe-flash or something else...
