Is it possible to mount a JBOD volume created with nvraid in any mainboard other than the one used to create it?
I mean as far as I know JBOD is just drive concatenation, nvraid seems to be software based and I've read that linux handles nvraid volumes with dmraid but I don't know if it only works if you're using an nvidia chipset.
pd: I'm a complete ignorant about raid/jbod I'm just trying to help a friend whose mobo died recently. _________________ Be good and if you can't be good, be careful. |
