Hi,
since the upgrade to KDE 4.11, I cannot suspend/hibernate as a user.
upower -d gives:
Daemon:
daemon-version: 0.9.21
can-suspend: no
can-hibernate: no
on-battery: no
on-low-battery: no
lid-is-closed: no
lid-is-present: yes
is-docked: no
Whereas the same command as root says:
Daemon:
daemon-version: 0.9.21
can-suspend: yes
can-hibernate: yes
on-battery: no
on-low-battery: no
lid-is-closed: no
lid-is-present: yes
is-docked: no
Suspend / hibernate works from lightdm, so it is not a problem related to suspending in general. It worked for several KDE versions before without any flaw.
I understand that it must be related to permissions set by consolekit / policykit, but I am totally lost with these systems. Could anybody point me to the right path?
Thanks,
