Hello every one I can not seem to emerge gentoolkit because of python-argparse, Here is what I get.
Code:

alculating dependencies... done!

!!! All ebuilds that could satisfy "virtual/python-argparse" have been masked.
!!! One of the following masked packages is required to complete your request:
- virtual/python-argparse-1::gentoo (masked by: invalid: RDEPEND: USE flag 'python_targets_python2_5' referenced in conditional 'python_targets_python2_5?' is not in IUSE)
- virtual/python-argparse-0::gentoo (masked by: invalid: RDEPEND: USE flag 'python_targets_python2_5' referenced in conditional 'python_targets_python2_5?' is not in IUSE)

(dependency required by "app-portage/gentoolkit-0.3.0.7" [ebuild])
(dependency required by "gentoolkit" [argument])
For more information, see the MASKED PACKAGES section in the emerge
man page or refer to the Gentoo Handbook.

Let's see if we can fix this.

First, try doing

Code:

eselect python set 1
env-update
. /etc/profile

Let me know if that lets you proceed.

It's a bug in the virtual ebuild: python2_5 and python3_1 have been removed, but the ebuild still accesses them. Please report a bug if this has not been done yet.

The ebuild seems fine, have you run python-updater lately?

Apparently, it has been fixed meanwhile:

aortell, sync the portage tree again and the problem should be solved.
