So i am getting the
Could not connect to JACK server as client. - Overall operation failed. - Unable to connect to server. Please check the messages window for more info.
Cannot connect to server socket err = No such file or directory
Cannot connect to server socket
jack server is not running or cannot be started
When i try to start the jack server with real-time enabled but it start great without, but the latency is horrible.
but researching says that there no longer is a way to setup the kernel for realtime?
how do i get realtime running? |

OK .. so i have managed to get it to start with realtime enabled.... not sure how
plays fine, but when I patch it through a equalizer (JAMin) it skips and lags like it cant keep up.
My Comp speed and MEM are not the issue. |

yeah, more software you plug together the more buffer you will probably need. i suggest you check out qjackctl to manage your jack session and add to buffers, add a little bit of latency to keep the sound clean and clear. |

The original poster is asking about real-time audio. You are just taking wild guesses at things again. |
