Chromium won't run Java applets because it thinks java is out of date. I don't really understand why. The latest version is installed and eselected.
Code: |
~ # eselect java-nsplugin list
Available Java browser plugins

[2] oracle-jdk-bin-1.7 current
~ # eselect java-vm list
Available Java Virtual Machines:

[2] oracle-jdk-bin-1.7 system-vm
~ # cd /usr/lib/nsbrowser/plugins/

I'm wondering whether chromium has a file equivalent to firefox' pluginreg.dat that can easily be out of date? OTOH I recently removed all files and dirs used by chrome, so everything is pretty new and clean. |
