Hi

After last two system update I had to put
Code:
Driver=SQLITE

instead of
Code:
Driver=SQLITE3

in my ~/.config/akonadi/akonadiserverrc, to get Kmail work again (akonadi server was failing complaining about missing driver).

How I can upgrade to SQLITE3 to get rid of this issue?

I'm sure it will be a stupid thing, but I don't want to lose my email archive. So I prefer to ask.

Thank you.

There was a note somewhere that akonadi works better with mysql and that is the default (i think).
Sqlie is troublesome (for me, at least).

Thanks. Do you have any procedure to switch to mysql driver?
I tried Driver=QMYSQL with no success. That eventually because mysql is not installed in this system ;)

That was correct.

emerge --info akonadi-server:
Code:
...
app-office/akonadi-server-1.9.2 was built with the following:
USE="mysql -postgres -sqlite -test"

I succesfully changed to QMYSQL doing this:

Emerged akonadiconsole
Configured Kmail Folder to Native
Changed Driver=QSQLITE (from QSQLITE3)
Restart KDE
Kmail worked.
Quit Kmail
Akonadictl stop
changed Driver=QMYSQL
Akonadictl start
Start Kmail.

Now I'm happily using QMYSQL driver.
Not sure what was the problem.
