I have used this command (emerge net-p2p/mldonkey) to clarify I want to install the p2p software but not the "emac" one.

But I still get the wrong message during compiling. I suffer this issue for very long time. But I really successful installed this software before.

Because I prefer to use this software by using its web interface in my server, I don't know if there is other software can replace it.

Thanks for your advice.

wgetpaste is your friend --
If you need support, post the complete build log and the output of `emerge -pqv '=net-p2p/mldonkey-3.1.0'`.
The complete build log is located at '/var/tmp/portage/net-p2p/mldonkey-3.1.0/temp/build.log'.

perhaps the reason emake failed will appear

click edit in the upper left of your last post, select all of it, type <snip> which should delete it. A forum post reaches a certain length and is then automatically truncated. In this case before the true error occurred. Replacing the valid but unhelpful post with <snip> will improve readability.

Run
Code:
 emerge wgetpaste
emerge -pqv '=net-p2p/mldonkey-3.1.0'  | wgetpaste
wgetpaste /var/tmp/portage/net-p2p/mldonkey-3.1.0/temp/build.log
and post the url's returned. If you want to replace <snip> in your previous post with the url's; that would be a good thing.

Thanks!

I always try to find the way to paste a bulk of content.

So now I get it.

I will try your method.

Thanks!
