Veriosn "1.7.11" is not even mark unstable, so it seems to me it is just a routine check by portage.

Many packages are not keyworded, but do not generate that error. Since it is not keyworded, you likely will not install it even once Portage accepts the ebuild, so you can just ignore that version for now.
