Does anyone know where google has put the google-chrome binaries? Do they still exist?
I can't even access the directory in dl.google.com, and the only linux deb seems to be some
sort of automatic install and update setup which I really don't want. I can update the ebuild
in a local overlay once I know where to look.
Thanks - Will |

Thanks; in fact I managed to get google-chrome to install after a lot of messing around, but
it needs very recent libraries which I don't have (oddly enough they aren't dependencies)
so I gave up on the idea.

i use gentoo stable. I have no issues with the recent version of chrome. I guess maybe you need to update your system. _________________ LENOVO Y580 FHD Intel® Core™ i7-3630QM CPU @ 2.40GHz × 8 |660M GTX NVIDIA | 16GB SanDisk SSD |
