After last week's gnome update to 3.8 on unstable, I've found that Totem crashes on start up with the following error:

Quote:
(totem:23541): Gdk-ERROR **: The program 'totem' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadValue (integer parameter out of range for operation)'.
(Details: serial 210 error_code 2 request_code 131 minor_code 47)
(Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the GDK_SYNCHRONIZE environment
variable to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)

while dmesg shows:

Quote:
[ 2620.031900] traps: totem[23541] trap int3 ip:7f37f9f918fd sp:7fff2f38bfa0 error:0

Any hints on where to even begin tracking down this problem? I tried rolling back to Totem 3.6.3 and had the same problem so I'm guessing it a dependency and not a totem problem per se. I'm running a cinnamon desktop with the following packages masked to keep Cinnamon working properly:

Quote:
>dev-libs/gjs-1.34.0
>=gnome-base/gnome-settings-daemon-3.8.3-r1
>media-libs/clutter-1.12.2
>media-libs/clutter-gtk-1.4.2

Any help would be appreciated!
