Hi all

I upgraded to the latest and greatest udev, re linked net.lo to net.enp2r1 and added this to RC so the network starts on boot.

However, I can't get the 'system' to pick up the static network config from /etc/conf.d/net

The system picks up network stuff from dhcp.

My google fu is not helping me find how to 'link' /etc/conf.d/net to this 'new' nework device so I can set a static IP address.

Help, please?

Doesn't the static ip guide in the handbook work?

Simply replace the occurrences of eth0 with the enp... name that your interface has.
