This is another "I am back" story. I've been using fedora for the past year (Earlier gentoo for 2 y). Yesterday I decided I can't live without the extreme freedom Gentoo gives to its users anymore.
Though the drop that spilled the cup was the fact, that I couldn't change the binding for the super key, which the gnome 3 hijacks for its "Overview" action. It just wasn't there, in "Keyboard Shorcuts". And I wasn't interested in a hack.

Welcome back! I too have left a couple of times, but like you, could not stay away. Gentoo or bust!
