So, I tried building openrc-settingsd-1.0.1 manually and it worked for me. According to equery, librc.so is owned by openrc. A quick check shows that I am using openrc 0.11.8. Could you verify that you are using the same version? _________________ Creating usernames when you're

I have :
[U] sys-apps/openrc (0.9.9.3[1]@06/03/2012 -> 0.11.: OpenRC manages the services, startup and shutdown of a host
I upgraded openrc and then reemerged openrc-settingsd and it worked. Thanks..
emerge -av gnome-control-center is successful too. |
