At least that's what I assume it is, I've never seen it, only the filename. In X11 cursor themes, there's a file called "fleur". Anyone know why? Just really curious.

Oh come one BK, you know that we are not that pretentious, don't you ?

Our contributions are of course much more humble, and, in a field you are not competing, as far as you repeatedly made obvious how deep you splendidly ignore it!

This, technically modest creation of a fleurdelisé cursor is nothing but an umpteenth testimony of our contribution to aesthetics !
No less!
You know... the sets of rationales grounding... grace !

Proof :

- Of course, the ultimately graceful cursor has got the unparalleled quality to fit whatever the background.
- The Fleur de Lys is the only symbol which is not constrained by the Rule of Tincture

:P

Noblesse Oblige!

OK, when middle click and drag to move windows in uwm, it uses the fleur cursor. So, I guess it just used to be the move cursor, and now most WMs use "move" instead?

Thank you for providing a case study of my point. The French also did not invent the Fleur de lis. It was an ancient symbol of Israel, and became a symbol of Christianity. What we now call the fleur de lis once graced the Temple of Solomon, as the capitals of its pillars, four cubits high. The French have a very creative, ethno-centric history, although I suppose that is far from unique.
