Since I'm doing regular backups of my phone's apks, I'm having trouble keeping up with sorting and versioning, espacially since the names are irregular and not always identical to the application's real name. Thus having the apk's icon as a visual aid would be of great help to me. Problem is, I didn't have the icons and now I'm looking for a filemanager(/plugin) able to do it.
From what I understand, apks are merley zip-files and the icon sits in /res/drawable-{hdpi,xhdpi}/icon.png so it shouldn't be too hard to implement. I'm using thunar, but I'm willing to install any other filemanager capable of doing this. Anyone knowing something?
Edit, partly solved:
I found this for KDE's dolphin, which works, but unfortunately not for every .apk (though the icon is shown in filemanagers on the device itself, so it's not a broken icon). _________________ ++++++++++[>+++++++>++++++++++>+++>+<<<<-]>++.>+.+++++++..+++.>++.<<+++++++++++++++.>.+++.------.--------.>+.>. |
