Hi Everybody!

Is there a solution to use ipx as a normal user?

Code:

Network    Node_Address   Primary  Device     Frame_Type
00000001   001A4D488952   Yes      eth0       802.2
/proc/net/ipx/interface lines 1-2/2 (END)

want to have ipx in wine (cause wine dune2000.exe won't start in root) ... a few months ago it works but now i have trouble getting access ...

is it because of that: http://wiki.winehq.org/Ping ?

thank you so far ...

Hi,

what is your problem exactly? You need root access to add IPX using the ipx_interface command, but after that no root access is required. I use this for IPX network over OpenVPN for the game Ultimate Race Pro.

thank you so far !

ok, i got

Code:

#ipx_interface check eth0 802.2
IPX Address for (eth0, 802.2) is 00000001:001A4D488952.

but for example in dune2000 there is no ipx network shown
normally when it's setted up you can choose in multiplayer the >LAN< option
..something went wrong ...

how to setup ?
ifconfig shows the device is up
