Try:
Code:
emerge emul-linux-x86-gstplugins
emerge wine

I had this show up on my x86_64 target as well... haven't had time to debug it yet, I may end up USE=-gstreamer to get around it... Problem is probably showing up because it needs the dev includes/libraries to compile 32-bit wine, and these aren't included in emul-linux-* libraries.

Since there is a gstreamer USE flag, I would hope this has been tested before... but I suppose if you were only building 64-bit wine on 64-bit Linux it wouldn't be a problem?

The other options are:
  1. enable the multilib profile, download gcc from the tinderbox then emerge -e world
  2. Disable the win32 USE Flag for wine

I am not compiling wine64.

Code:
[ebuild   R    ] app-emulation/wine-1.4.1  USE="X alsa cups gecko gnutls gphoto2 gsm jpeg lcms ldap mp3 ncurses nls openal opencl opengl oss perl png prelink samba scanner ssl threads truetype udisks v4l win32 xcomposite xinerama xml -capi -custom-cflags -fontconfig (-gstreamer) -odbc (-selinux) {-test} -win64" 0 kB

After Looking at your emerge info I see you are on a 64 bit system You cannot compile wine using win32 as a use flag if your profile is set to no-multilib, which leaves you option #1 that I stated above.

I did compile wine just fine with win32 bit use flag. The problem here is gstreamer. Why this is I do not know yet.

Because gstreamer support needs the 32 bit development headers that are in the gstreamer package, and that package is 32 bit because your using win32, and a 64 bit compiler cannot compile a 32 bit binary without multilib support. If you are using multilib we need to file a bug for the emulation libraries, because it looks like the headers were left out.

This recompile for wine no longer appears in my world update list. It must have been pulled out.

I have the same issue starting with wine 1.30. I'm using multilib and configure complains:
Code:
configure: error: gstreamer-0.10 base plugins development files not found
.

Which emulation package should contain these headers?

Forums are acting up so I can't edit my prior post, wine-1.3.0 was removed back in August. wine-1.3.28 (which still is around) has pretty much the same dependency graph as wine-1.4.1.

Code:

# equery l emul-linux-x86-gstplugins
 * Searching for emul-linux-x86-gstplugins ...
!!! No installed packages matching 'emul-linux-x86-gstplugins'
# equery l emul-linux-x86-medialibs
 * Searching for emul-linux-x86-medialibs ...

I can compile the stable version just fine, but not the latest (starting with 1.5.30) and I have all the libs installed:

Please file bugs at https://bugs.gentoo.org as they are unlikely to get fixed on the forums, thank you.
