Recent two months I'm trying to figure out what causes problems with my asterisk installations.
To elaborate a bit - all my asterisk instances have connected openldap as a password/user/extension backend.
Problem is that asterisk randomly crashes with message in dmesg something like:
asterisk: segfault at ffff0000 ip 00007f9d3a482631 sp 00007f9cea91a6a8 error 4 in libc-2.15.so[7f9d3a331000+19f000]
Unfortunately there is also another problem - somehow when you are calling from one SIP phone to another (soft or hw one it not depends
i tested at least 3hw and 2 sw phones) - asterisk swaps caller and callee - so at callee side it looks like he is called by himself. You can imagine now
missed calls list looks like .
We were be able to fix this by compiling asterisk with -O0 and now we are trying to figure out what is wrong from core dumps. For sure we know
it has something to do with ldap extension.
Do you have same problems ? Or we are alone ?
