I'd like to add some fonts for inkscape and gimp but I don't want to screw up my system.

Sooo. I'm asking the experts.

What is the best way to add fonts to a gentoo system for uyse with inkscape and gimp?

Optional:Make a new folder in /usr/share/fonts.
Copy your new fonts to this folder.
That's all.
(Restart Gimp or Inkscape)
Gerard.

Hi cwc,
I suppose you mean the lettering at the top of the site.
Very nice font for what the site is about.

Bikes are utilitarian here (as you probably know).
I used a bike until a couple of years ago,was stopped by my kids and wife when they considered it no longer safe.(I'm 86 now)
I've had quite a few Giant bikes.
Good luck,
Gerard.
