Hello,
Using portage 2.2 alpha, it seems that "emerge --deep" is really slow : 3m17 on my Atom netbook, with a squashed portage tree (and squashed layman overlays).
Do you also experience such slowness? _________________ Kind regards,

If it's a regression, please file a bug (regression range would be great, e.g. if previous portage version was faster).
I agree 3 mins is a lot of time. I think for me resolving deps usually completes within 30s, but I'm not using unstable portage. _________________ http://phajdan-jr.blogspot.com/ |
