I hate to spoil the circle-jerk, but the Jamestown colonists were 100% European (English, specifically).

The only Americans involved were the natives, some tribes of whom were friendly with the colonists and some tribes of whom were not. That is, up until some of the Englishmen who were there looking for gold (as opposed to settling) fucked over and pissed off the natives.

They had put the word out they were looking for the shiny gold stuff, and would trade muskets for it. Then these natives brought them a big container of it, so they murdered them all and took it. Then they hauled it all the way back England only to discover it was nothing but Fools Gold (iron pyrite).

One of my ancestors was on the supply vessel that was shipwrecked in Bermuda, which is part of what cased "The Starving Times". There are books. You Eurocentric blighters should read some of them.

I recommend Here Shall I Die Ashore, by my ancestor Stephen Hopkins (who was also on the Mayflower, by the way), or The Shipwreck that Saved Jamestown -- The Sea Venture Castaways and the Fate of America, by Lorri Glover and Daniel Blake Smith.

The poles were there to hold the roof up.

Words to live by, if I ever heard them! It's always the other guys that are wrong. Never me.

lots of big foreign words... don't try to distract! How many babies have you eaten this year alone?!

All this pro-life nonesense - people are just afraid that they losoe tasty baby meat! Ourageos!

You should wait until they are 20-25. The flavour is much better. The girls at least.

Personally I have only eaten about thirty babies so far this year. I try to keep it down to no more than two a week or so.
