[SOLVED] Emerging OpenAFS with gentoo-sources 3.9

I could not get net-fs/openafs-kernel 1.6.2 to emerge with my newly updated gentoo-sources 3.9.0 kernel.

For others who had difficulty, I was finally able to emerge net-fs/openafs-kernel 1.6.2 against gentoo-sources 3.9.0 by applying the following patches from openafs:

I couldn't find this submitted as a bug, so I just submitted it as bug 469992. I haven't yet tried your solution, but will report back when I get a chance. Thanks!
