I am looking for a good DB browser that can handle postgres and MSSQL. I have tried Tora, but it seems to freeze up randomly. I find I have to restart it a lot, and sometimes it doesn't even connect before it freezes.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

It looks like a good idea, except that I would have to put it on the server, and I am not the admin. I don't think I would be able to get support for this. I just want something to easily browse the tables and columns in the DB since I am not really an SQL coder. This looks neat, but not quite the right tool for my purpose. Thanks!

pgAdmin3 is the best you can get for Postgres. I would've thought a proprietary DB like MSSQL would at least come with a browser, considering the price tag...

I used a Java database browser some years ago, but unfortunately can't remember the name. It might be JDBStudio. There are several Java browsers about, as the JDBC layer makes it easy to connect to different servers.

I like SQL developer by oracle. It has connections to PG, MySQL, MSSQL, and many others. I tend to prefer pgadmin and mysql workbench though.
