I'm using a weird CHOST, I'm lazy to change this.. I don't know if has to do with my error... but.. here is my make.conf

Code:
geckos@gentoo-x86 ~ $ cat /etc/make.conf

This one's weird. I haven't seen that error near 'cross compiling' check yet.

Well, that theoretically can be a case. Do you have
Code:
i486-pc-linux-gnu-gcc
executable?

Also, another possibility

that one's usually due to gcc-config not being run after a user did an emerge --depclean and removed their active gcc

Got this, on config.log
Code:

configure:3297: checking whether we are cross compiling
configure:3305: i486-pc-linux-gnu-gcc -o conftest -O2 -march=native -pipe  -Wl,-O1 -Wl,--as-needed conftest.c  >&5

                 from conftest.c:14:

compilation terminated.
configure:3309: $? = 1
configure:3316: ./conftest
/var/tmp/portage/dev-python/python-exec-0.3.1/work/python-exec-0.3.1/configure: line 3318: ./conftest: No such file or directory
configure:3320: $? = 127
configure:3327: error: in `/var/tmp/portage/dev-python/python-exec-0.3.1/work/python-exec-0.3.1_build':
configure:3329: error: cannot run C compiled programs.
If you meant to cross compile, use `--host'.
See `config.log' for more details

e-file "%/sys/cdefs.h" says about glibc.. but I think there is python stuff with this header too..

So, boot with livecd and remerge glibc?

Since that's just a single directory, you could just catch glibc .tbz2 and unpack the respective files from it. But then re-emerge glibc to get the package in sync.
