|
|
Hi, guys!
I have atheros ar9485 wireless adapter and i can't get wireless connection.
Kernel version is 3.7.10-gentoo.
The adapter is plant on wlp3s0 interface.
I already tried wpa_supplicant and wireless-tools but I didn't get any seccess.
Is it kernel problem? How to solve it?

ok. I enabled wext in the kernel. It seams that we are on the right way. Thank you, guys!
But it still doesn't work... a got these outputs:
Code: | Den ~ # iwconfig

if it is impotent i emerged rfkill and tried it.

suggest /etc/conf.d/net:
Quote: | config_enp4s0="dhcp"
dhcpcd_enp4s0="-t 10"
modules_wlp3s0="wpa_supplicant"
wpa_supplicant_wlp3s0="-Dwext"
#wpa_supplicant_wlp3s0="-Dnl80211"
wpa_timeout_wlp3s0=15
iwconfig_wlp3s0_mode="Managed"
config_wlp3s0="dhcp"
dhcpcd_wlp3s0="-t 10" |
/etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf:
Quote: | DIR=/var/run/wpa_supplicant GROUP=wheel
ap_scan=1
update_config=1 |
then Code: | /etc/init.d/net.wlp3s0 restart | then use wpa_gui to configure and save the network(s)
you should have wpa_gui if you have a gui and if wpa_supplicant was emerged with the qt4 USE flag _________________ Defund the FCC. |
