Dolphin process is not killed after closing Dolphin

has anyone else experienced this?

I just launch Dolphin (from the menu), close Dolphin and then use "pgrep dolphin" to check if the process is still there...and it is. Moreover, this happens every time I launch Dolphin...so I open and close Dolphin a few times, I will have the same number of process running forever Also, if you run Dolphin from a console you can see that the prompt never comes back.

I reported the bug upstream and was replied by a developer saying he could not reproduce it...

Am I really the only one? This happens to me in two different computers running Gentoo.
