|
|
I was wondering releases like, KDE 4.10 RC1, then RC2 etc... and keyword it.
This way, the system is more updated and helps testing KDE. _________________ My blog |

But those are life ebuild right? 9999. They build from version control?
Why not just tag rc-1, put it in the official tree and mask/keyword it; that way it's more desirable to install it. _________________ My blog |

Ok, I thought they were live ebuilds, as a result avoided them. _________________ My blog |

What does that mean? Watch out for the hot new releases, or be careful as they're actually piles of warm crap? ;) |

Slightly OT here but I must say I had a serious "what the hell is happening to version numbers lately" a few days ago when I installed firefox 19 and saw that nightly is at v22! And then I realized chrom(e)/ium had overtaken emacs in terms of version number |
