how to make aterm transparent??

how to make aterm transparent??

im trying to set my back my old settings on this newlly fresh installation of gentoo but i cant remember how to setup da transparent aterm

Also, make sure you set the background for the root window with Esetroot or an appropriate tool that comes with your window manager (hsetroot, fbsetbg, etc).

What if you're using Sawfish/Metacity. You don't get any background settings tools with those do you. To get Esetroot I need to emerge Eterm. Aterm comes with nothing. Can you tell me a package name that contains fbsetbg hsetroot or anything else.

fbsetbg comes with fluxbox (I'm not sure if it comes with 0.1.4 though), and it's quite nice - although it's just a wrapper for a number other programs, like esetroot etc.
