|
|
I'm fresh to linux. At my learning i got a gentoo livecd which boots, does an autologin and then starts a program. I cannot find where the startup of this program is located. I read about runlevels, inittab and many config sections. But I'm not able to find the location where the program will be startet. It's not a deamon or system service, it's a custom built application.
Can you tell me where i can search for this - where are all the locations gentoo will "autostart" programs?
Thank you |

See /etc/local.d/README |
Thank you for the fast answer. I read about this one.
On the livecd I've got there is no folder called /etc/local.d. Where else could it be possible to start applications, any idea? |
