How do I use them? I can't re-compile Firefox and/or Chromium each time I'd like to update my rig :(
Thank you!

I'm not asking for A COMPLETE BINARY SYSTEM but only for some apps... this is why I use Gentoo.

Take it easy!

BTW, thank you for you support! How can I add a BINHOST server?

EDIT: I can't read ahah! I just noticed that the link explained how to use them. Thanks!

I have never looked into it, but maybe there is a way to define for which packages to always use binpkgs.

You can add equo (Sabayon's package manager) to Gentoo as well. I once tried this for installing several binary packages but in my case it didn't worked so well. It installed and synced but when I tried to install my packages, it conflicted with the portage versions and wanted to pull a lot of dependencies. It is interesting and fun to do and probably worth the try.

GSnake ... you do realise that when using a BINHOST all the packages will be binary ... you can't select BINHOST for "some apps". So, genstorm's question remains valid.

best ... khay
